UK Highways Network
UA-5 provides specialist vegetation surveying and clearance support to the UK highways network. Our two-person survey teams produce GIS-driven reports detailing the works required to maintain road safety, visibility and operational integrity — enabling contractors to present full, accurately quantified vegetation scopes.
We also deliver the subsequent vegetation clearance works, offering an integrated survey-to-execution service for highways clients.
Telecoms Infrastructure Owners
UA-5 supports telecoms infrastructure owners with vegetation inspections, infestation reporting and the creation of works specifications. Findings are reported through our digital platform or configured to meet client requirements, ensuring network integrity and required clearances are maintained at all times.

Irish Network Operations
UA-5 operates across the Republic of Ireland providing resilience surveying, vegetation assessment, landowner consenting and outage management support. Our team has specific experience of Irish network requirements, consent processes and the practical demands of working across mixed rural and urban terrain.
All surveyors deployed on Irish programmes hold the relevant network-specific qualifications including Basic Electrical Knowledge — UA1 IRL.
