Overview

Risk quantification you can act on

UA-5 is a registered QTRA user, providing independent tree risk assessments that quantify the probability of tree failure and the likelihood and magnitude of harm. Our assessments are designed to support safe, proportionate and auditable decision-making.

We apply QTRA, Threats and PTI methodologies according to the specific requirements of each instruction — whether for network infrastructure, highways, public open space or commercial land.

Assessment methodologies

  • QTRA — Quantified Tree Risk Assessment: probability-based risk quantification for individual trees
  • Threats — systematic threat-based assessment identifying specific failure mechanisms
  • PTI — Professional Tree Inspection providing condition-based assessment and management recommendations

What we deliver

  • Independent assessment free from commercial pressure to recommend unnecessary works
  • QTRA-registered outputs with full supporting calculations
  • Photographic evidence and GPS data for every assessed tree
  • Clear management recommendations prioritised by risk level
  • Reports suitable for client audit, legal review or regulatory submission
